Summer Camp | Rock Climbing | Adventure | Leadership | Ontario
Camp A: Rock Climbing Specialists
This camp provides campers ample outdoor climbing experience to develop competence in outdoor rock climbing skills and risk management, with the option of learning top rope anchor setting and sport lead climbing as deemed appropriate to individual camper's aspiration and readiness.
Each camper will identify an area of their main interest, so they may receive additional support by partcipating in an additional one-day technical course (e.g. Top Rope Anchor Setting, or Sport Lead Climbing), after the camp, on a day when this course is run for regular paid clients and a spot available, within one year.
If it rains on a particular day, we will conduct sessions on knots, anchors, and the physics of forces in rock climbing and equipment. We may also run activities that facilitate personal development in self-awareness, self-leadership and building positive relationships with others.
